What is THCA?
THCA, or THC Acid, is the acid form of Delta-9 THC that develops naturally in cannabis/hemp plants. Once converted through heat, light, oxygen, or chemical reactions, THCA turns into active Delta-9 THC. THCA is legal because, chemically, it is NOT active Delta-9 THC. Active Delta-9 THC is the only regulated cannabinoid in cannabis/hemp, making hemp legal for THCA, CBDA, and CBGA, but not active THC that exceeds 0.3% by dry weight basis. This makes our THCA flower federally compliant!
