Tennessee Hemp Updates
The Tennessee hemp industry has received an encouraging update just in time for the holidays. The Tennessee Grower’s Coalition announced that a temporary injunction has been granted on the “Total THC Rule” and the “THCA Hemp Flower Rule.” This decision provides a much-needed reprieve for growers, businesses, and consumers across the state.
-
THCA Live Resin Flight Bundles 1 Gram and 3.5 Gram$139.99 – $269.99
-
THCA Lovers Bundle$69.99
-
Snapdragon Sip & Smoke Bundle$44.99 – $49.99
The temporary injunction, in effect until February 18, 2024, allows the continued sale of THCA-rich hemp flower, concentrates, and vape products without the restrictions previously imposed by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture. On that date, the Coalition will return to court to advocate for a permanent injunction to solidify these protections.
The state legislature will also begin its new session around the same time. The Coalition has developed a strategy to oppose proposed legislation, including a bill from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation that could impact the industry further.
While this temporary injunction is not a complete solution, it provides critical relief and an opportunity to strengthen the industry’s footing as long-term solutions are pursued.
