Tennessee cannabis customers are facing a major change: THCA flower sales are ending for in-state Tennessee retailers after July 1, 2026. As hemp-derived cannabinoid oversight moves fully under the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission, also called the TABC or TNABC, the rules for what can be sold in Tennessee are changing quickly. Tennessee’s official hemp-derived cannabinoid page confirms that oversight transferred from the Department of Agriculture to the TABC on January 1, 2026, with previous TDA licenses expiring June 30, 2026.
